Campos Reales

In a region with a very long tradition of wine making such as El Provencio, where their facilities are situated, the passage of time has helped them build and increase their know-how and skills.

At Bodegas Campos Reales, they retain from tradition that which they know should not be changed: hand harvesting, traditional pruning, the importance of indigenous grapes varieties, aging in quality oak barrels.

They have a highly qualified management team, totally committed to the bodega. Their people drive every substantial project forward successfully with a dedicated and skilled team of professionals. Their bodega's history is that a group of people who, with sacrifice and vision, have worked together to achieve success.

Their viticulturists were raised in these lands which they understand perfectly and know exactly how to care for, so that year after year they provide them with their fruit in optimum condition. With many hectares of high altitude, dry farmed, old Cencibel (Tempranillo) vines to select from, they are able to produce one of Spain's best price/quality ratio wines: Canforrales.

2011 Tempranillo de Canforrales
This young, unoaked Tempranillo has a deep ruby core with crimson tones. It is expressive with aromas of violets, rose petals, blackberries, cherries and blueberries. It is dry on the palate, with very approachable tannin and acidity balanced with a ton of dark fruits. A full wine with a smokey liquoricy component on the end of a lengthy finish.
